Sporting Clay Shoot

Join us for the 5th Annual FNLT Clay Shoot.

Proceeds from the event benefit Farm & Natural Land Trust of York County. To register and join the fun, watch this page for more information as it becomes available or give us a call (717.843.4411) for sponsorship information.

Teams of five will compete in a challenging, but fun, 50-shot tournament.  The course will include interesting challenges spread throughout that are sure to get good laughs as you act fast on unique setups.  Prizes for top team, individual, streak, post-shoot wobble and course challenges.

Sponsor a team of five and don’t miss out on all the excitement! We can also accommodate a limited number of teams and individuals (we’ll form a team for you!).  If you’re not a shooter, station sponsorships are available and we can always use volunteers to lend a hand and join in the fun.  Event sponsors will receive a team of shooters in the event, pre-event and onsite publicity as well as recognition in Preservation Quarterly. See the enclosed flyer and registration for details on how to register a team or individual. Keep in mind that this is a great way to keep York County green for future generations—FNLT, preserving farm and open land since 1990.

What you will need to bring

• 12 or 20 gauge shotgun capable of firing two shots (loaners available on a limited basis)
• Shells – minimum of 75 (can be purchased on site)
• Coat or shell bag (loaners available on a limited basis)
• Ear plugs and safety glasses (available on a limited basis)

• 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. :: Registration, lunch, & wobble shoot
• 1:30 p.m. :: Shotgun start, 50 bird shoot featuring fun & challenging contest stations
• 3:30 p.m. :: Remaining wobble shoot, awards, snacks, & beers
