About The Event
ABOUT THE SASQUATCH 5 & 10 K
The almost annual, 12th Sasquatch Preservation Trail Run 5K & 10K is back at the FNLT preserved South Branch Farms. The Sasquatch is chip timed, with both the 10K & 5K starting at 9:00 AM sharp.
Details below are subject to change and registration information will be found here in July 2023 - mark your calendars and get to training!
Featured as one of Runner’s World magazine’s America’s Top Trail Races, The Sasquatch is all off-road, cross-country and trail runs across varied terrain and elevation on FNLT preserved farmland, woods, meadows and streams. Peep at native birds, deer, turkeys, owls, foxes, coyotes, snakes and…. sasquatches! The 10K has some steep climbs including OVER the historic Howard Tunnel / Rail Trail. Both runs cross the Codorus Creek near the finish.
BRISK PACE ONLY - this is not a walk or hike event. If you'd like a slower pace, please see FNLT's Preservation Steps events which are new for 2023, with several options to get out on preserved lands.
This is a PRIVATE property, so please - no trespassing before or after the race. Since this is an active farm, please NO ANIMALS. Due to the terrain, NO STROLLERS on the course. Please carpool if possible (do this all the time!).
